Storyline
Ten-year-old Ben lives on an island lighthouse with his father Conor and little sister Saoirse.
The girl still won’t speak, but it turns out that she is a shelkie, that is, she belongs to the people of the seal people, like her mother who disappeared six years ago. Frightened, Conor sends the children to the city to visit their grandmother, but Ben longs to return, and the sea continues to call to Saoirse.
Thus begins their adventurous journey home.
