Storyline
A musical performance will take place at Canterlot High, in which Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy decide to participate with their new group, «The Rainbooms».
But when a new girl group with the catchy name «The Dazzlings» appears on the scene, things quickly turn from friendly competition into a real Battle of the Bands. As tensions rise between the rivals, a reformed Sunset Shimmer learns that the girls from The Dazzlings are not as simple as they may seem, and have goals far more sinister than winning the title of Best Band at Canterlot High.
The Rainbooms seek the help of Princess Twilight to return to their world and help create a musical counter-spell that can help them in a battle that will determine the future of the entire school.
